How this site is funded
SolarPaybackPro is a free, ad-supported website. We earn revenue two ways:
- Display advertising via Google AdSense. The ads you see in the page are served by Google based on contextual and behavioral signals, not by us.
- Affiliate partnerships with solar marketplaces, currently EnergySage and SunPower. When you click one of our affiliate links and submit a quote request, we may receive a small commission. This costs you nothing extra.
What it does not change
- Our state-by-state recommendations don't favor partners — they're driven by data.
- Our calculator results are independent of partner relationships.
- We don't sell your personal information to anyone.
Why we use marketplaces
Marketplaces like EnergySage protect you from phone harassment by collecting bids from multiple installers and surfacing them in one place. You control when (and whether) installers reach out, and you compare apples-to-apples bids using a standardized format. We've personally used the service.
